  Samsung U600 vs Samsung U700: High Performance-Served

Mobile phones have come a long way in terms of features and looks. Earlier, you had bulkier mobile phones with limited set of features. With the advancement of technology, new and sophisticated features have been regularly incorporated in the handsets. Innovations in the mobile world has literally become an everyday affair. Now there are mobile phones for every need, every purpose. Photographers would love the camera phones, music aficionados would prefer the music phones and so on. But if you look for mobile phones with all round performance, then, Samsung is a company that has got much to offer you. Samsung's latest presentations called the Samsung U600 and the Samsung U700 are two gorgeous slider phones with superior looks and functionalities.

The Samsung U600 is a Quad Band GSM phone with EDGE data network support. The phone comes with fitted with a large 2.2 inch 262k colour TFT screen providing a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Camera feature is complemented by a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and digital zoom. Photo setting, video recording and video setting features also come with the phone. Music is another feature where the Samsung U600 shows its exploits. The integrated music player supports a variety of formats like like MP3, WMA, AAC and eAAC. Bluetooth, USB, GPRS, WAP 2.0/xHTML, FM radio, embedded Java games, downloadable games, 60MB shared memory, memory expansion through MicroSD memory cards are the other noteworthy features available in the phone.
Unlike the Samsung U600, Samsung U700 is a Tri Band GSM handset. This phone has also got EDGE data support. The difference between the two handsets is marked by the 3G feature. While the Samsung U700 supports 3G, there is no 3G support in the Samsung U600. As there is 3G in the Samsung U700, there are two cameras attached in the phone-a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash for taking pictures and videos and one VGA camera for video calling . Rest of the features in the phone are more or less the same with its brother U600 (except phone memory that is 20MB).
